The Sun upright
The Sun is one of the most joyful cards in the deck. It brings warmth, success, confidence and a sense that all is well. Whatever you are working on is likely to go brightly, and your energy and enthusiasm are contagious. This card celebrates being yourself, enjoying simple pleasures and sharing good times with others. Children, play and fresh air are all favoured. Problems seem easier to solve under its light. If you have been waiting for good news, it may be on its way. Step outside, smile and let yourself shine.
The Sun reversed
Reversed, the Sun suggests that joy is present but a little clouded. You might be feeling tired, uninspired or unable to enjoy good things that are right in front of you. A setback may have dimmed your optimism for a while. Alternatively, this card can warn against overconfidence, expecting everything to work out without effort. The good news is that the Sun is still the Sun; the clouds will pass. Look for small moments of happiness and let yourself enjoy them. Rest, fresh air and good company can bring the warmth back quickly.
