Justice upright
Justice holds her scales and sword with a clear, steady gaze. This card is about truth, fairness and the consequences of your actions. It appears when a decision needs to be made carefully, weighing up the facts without letting emotion take over. Legal matters, contracts and agreements are often highlighted, and fair outcomes are favoured. Justice also asks you to take responsibility for your part in a situation, good or bad. What you put out tends to come back to you. Be honest, be balanced and choose the option you could defend with a clear conscience.
Justice reversed
Reversed, Justice suggests that something is out of balance. You might be facing an unfair situation, or you may be avoiding responsibility for your own part in it. Decisions could be clouded by bias, emotion or a reluctance to face the facts. Dishonesty, from you or towards you, may be involved. Look at the situation as objectively as you can and own what is yours to own. If you have been treated unfairly, gather the facts calmly before acting. Accountability is uncomfortable, but it is also the quickest route back to peace of mind.
