About Well Read

Well Read gives you a free three-card tarot reading every day, plus plain-English meanings for every card in the deck. There's no sign-up and nothing to download.

How the daily reading works

When you first visit, your browser is given a random code. Each day, that code and today's date are used to shuffle the deck and draw your three cards. That's why your reading stays the same all day and changes at midnight. The code stays on your device; we never see it or link it to you.

Our card meanings

All the card meanings and card designs on this site are original. They draw on the traditional symbolism of the 78-card tarot deck and are written to be clear, kind and practical.
